Activities
The FCNA has a strong commitment to education. The opportunity to be kept up-to-date in research and other areas is primarily met through Association meetings generally held quarterly. These meetings provide a forum for education through invited speakers and exchange with these speakers as well as among members themselves. Furthermore, the FCNA normally meets at the University of Florida, IFAS, Citrus Research and Education Center, Lake Alfred (CREC) for their annual meeting in April.
In addition to these regular meetings, the FCNA also encourages its members to offer their place of business as a meeting site in order that members may benefit and learn from each other's experience. These are often combined with field day programs.
The FCNA has also been very responsive to requests for financial support from Federal, State and university research personnel. This is an integral and meaningful part of the FCNA which reflects its interests in enhancing the ability of each member to carry out the objectives of the association.
